THE EXPERIENCE

What will we do?

We will have five days to share Jesus’ love with the people of Nuremberg!

The outreach will be organised in partnership with local churches. We will join openair evangelistic events and be a crucial part of relational evangelism through different activities, sports, games, etc.

In the mornings, we will have outreach training and Bible studies. We will be divided into girls’ and boys’ small groups – just like at TeenStreet – and will have time to study the Bible, worship, and pray together.

Outreaches will take place in the afternoons and evenings. We will stay with our small groups throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up?

Hope Nuremberg is an optional addition to the TeenStreet event. You can sign up for the outreach as you register for the TeenStreet event here. Registration is open from 15th December until 13th July.

When and where should I arrive in Nuremberg?

You should plan your arrival at the YMCA Nuremberg (Kornmarkt 6, 90402 Nuremberg) between 16:00 and 18:00. The programme will start with a welcome dinner at 19:00.

Arrival from Nuremberg Airport: We recommend taking the U-Bahn (direction Nürnberg Röthenbach) from the airport to Nuremberg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof). Someone will meet you at the train station to welcome you. The YMCA is just short walk from there.

Arrival by train to Nuremberg Main Station: Someone will meet you at the train station to welcome you. The YMCA is just short walk from there.

Arrival by car: Parking is very limited in the centre of Nuremberg. We recommend that you park your car at a train station outside of Nuremberg and take the train to the Main Station.

If you cannot make it between the given arrival times, please email the below address. It will be possible to arrive early – just know that you will be responsible for your own meals before the 7 pm dinner.

Please email your arrival information to outreach@teenstreet.de.

Where will we stay?

Accommodation is provided by local Christian ministries in Nuremberg and will be similar to the TeenStreet event setup. All male participants and their SGLs will be accommodated at the YMCA. All female participants and their SGLs will be accommodated at a near-by church building (10 min walk from the YMCA). Service Team members accommodation will be organised based on headcount and needs.

Please bring your own mattress and sleeping bag. If you have specific needs regarding sleeping arrangements, contact outreach@teenstreet.de
